Need DEM data for Dan’s QTH. ( lat=41.16632,lon=-73.745366) See topographic map as supplied by Dan. Interesting propagation enhancement possibly knife-edge diffraction in some directions and as a result of guiding/or reflection in other directions. Could at least extract model data and look at terrain.

Fix nec.exe source code so it compiles with Visual C++ and processes all input cards that affect the segment number.

Fixed the token parser to handle more input cards which affect the number of segments, also provided the –s  switch to allow user override of the calculations. Hand the new version to Dave, VK1DT - still testing. To be handed over to Ray Anderson for placement in Unofficial Nec archives replacing the original nec_exec.zip. Compiled with Visual Studio.NET v7c.

Look at the interference fringes due to reflection from a flat surface. Postulate from Dave is that the dessert/Nile boundary may be reflecting the surface wave see item 7.
